Reiki can also be given to pets either hands on or long distance. Animals who love to be petted will probably love hands-on Reiki.
Pets which can`t be handled can receive distant Reiki treatments. |
 | Disease is thought to come as a result of an imbalance in a portion of the whole, addressing imbalances through enhancing the body`s own ability to heal, opening a path to the well-being of the whole. When any part of the whole is out of balance, the entire being is affected. Reiki healing encompasses a holistic approach to the entire being, addressing the mental, emotional and spiritual as well as the physical.

In the healing work I do with animals, I work with the body`s own vibration. When trauma is experienced, the vibrational body is pushed out of its natural state of balance. Many outside influences can affect vibrational stability, such as trauma, disease and emotional stress. Behavioral problems can also result from an imbalance. Treating animals with the hand-on method is quite easy is most cases. Most animals are open to the healing energy and will almost `ask` you for a treatment. It is as if they know they will be put in a total harmonious relaxation for as long as they will stay still. For the distant method of healing, the animal will recieve the healing energy and in most cases receive it with delight, as they too will be drawn into a divine relaxed state and if standing at the time it is received, they will almost always keel over into a relaxing sleep! |
